Sports Massage Is a mix of massage techniques used to achieve a desired result which increases athletic performance during all phases of training. Pre-event techniques can be used to warm up the muscles, increase blood flow and prevent injury. Inter-event massage can be in between events to keep muscles warm, maintain joint and muscle flexibility and to prevent muscle soreness after exertion. Post-event modalities are used to help in recovery after a period of physical exertion and to identify any areas that may have been injured during the event. Training Massage is used to help in the recovery during everyday training. These techniques reduce the risk of injury and treat minor muscle injuries before they become a problem. I am available for Outcall or Onsite massage both with a table or Massage Chair. I invite you to call or email for details and pricing.

By affecting this system though release techniques undiagnosed or misdiagnosed pain can be alleviated or eliminated.
Neuromuscular ReeducationNeuromuscular Reeducation is an energetic soft tissue technique which focuses on rehabilitation of the soft tissue. It is a non-invasive treatment which helps in restoring proper muscle function and movement so that the body heals and performs at its optimum level. This treatment gives fast and lasting pain relief and restores the loss of function which occurs due to injuries to the nerves, connective tissue, muscles and joints. It integrates the characteristics of trigger point therapy, sports massage, fascial release and active release techniques. Techniques primarily used are PNF or Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation or Sports Stretching.

Hot Stone Massage is often paired with Swedish Massage. Stones are heated and used with oils to sooth, warm, and massage your muscles. This allows your body to relax and release tension and stress.
